Make Endodontic Treatment Affordable with Aetna

Learn More About the Benefits of Aetna

Aetna dental insurance can save you money on endodontic care

When you’ve got a painful toothache, the last thing you need to worry about is how you’re going to pay for endodontic treatment. Thankfully, when your endodontist is in-network with Aetna dental insurance, you can rest assured that your care will be as affordable as possible. Dr. Deborah Bishop is proudly in-network with Aetna, so you can get the high-quality treatment you need without breaking your budget.

Aetna Coverage Availability & Fees

Aetna coverage and fees can make your endodontic treatment more budget friendly

The name Aetna is synonymous with comprehensive dental insurance plans for both individuals and families. By paying a small monthly premium, you gain access to a nationwide network of dental professionals and specialists. Aetna dental insurance allows members to benefit from reduced rates for a variety of common treatments. While each plan may differ, most policies include the following:

The goal of your Aetna dental plan is to prevent painful dental emergencies such as gum disease and tooth decay. This will allow you to maintain your natural smile and lessen the risk of needing costly treatment down the road. In fact, research has shown that for every $1 you spend on preventive dental care, you can save $50 on emergency and restorative fees later.

Once you have met your deductible, you can use your annual allowance to reduce your out-of-pocket expenses on restorative treatments such as endodontic care.

Aetna recommends selecting an endodontist who is in their network to receive more coverage at the time of services. They have pre-negotiated rates with a variety of dental practices and specialists to reduce the cost of your care. However, you still may choose to visit an out-of-network specialist. Though your coverage will still be accepted, you’ll need to pay the difference between the office fees and your policy’s allowable amount. Dr. Bishop happily accepts both in-network and out-of-network patients.
